IncreaseNET X EU Innovation Network 2026 Innovation & Competitiveness Summit
On 15 October 2026, ANSM will host the IncreaseNET X EU Innovation Network 2026 Innovation & Competitiveness Summit, bringing together around a hundred representatives of national and European authorities, stakeholders in clinical research, representatives from academia and SMEs, as well as research funding bodies.
The event is co-organised by the Joint Action IncreaseNET and the EU Innovation Network (EU-IN), a joint EMA/HMA working group bringing together the competent national authorities and the EMA.
The aim of this day is to continue discussions on how to strengthen Europe's attractiveness and competitiveness in the field of health innovation, in particular by improving the support provided to innovative project leaders. The discussions will focus in particular on:

- European competitiveness and developments in the regulatory framework;
- The organisation and funding of clinical research;
- The coordination and complementarity of the network with national and European support schemes for innovation in SMEs and academia, and the diversity of the offering (national and European scientific advice, support from innovation offices, etc.).

- Catherine Paugam-Burtz, Director General of ANSM,
- Momir Radulović, Director General of the Slovenian Agency (JAZMP),
- Emmanuel Cormier, Director of Regulatory Science and Innovation at the European Medicines Agency (EMA).
- Three sessions
- Europe's positioning in terms of competitiveness and attractiveness,
- Introduction to the clinical trials landscape in France,
- The range of services supporting innovation in Europe and in the Member States.
- A keynote dedicated to gene therapies, cell therapies and transplantation.
- The day will conclude with a round table devoted to one central question: "How can we make the European innovation support offering more accessible and easier to navigate for project leaders?"
